12 New Arrivals
Gaynes Park has some new arrivals - 12 ducklings!
They nested and hatched under one of the long grasses in the courtyard at the back of the Mill Barn.
The girls from the Events Team have been helping to look after them and had to open the gate for them to get to the pond.
Gaynes Park is not only a good place for couples to start their new lives, but also for duckings too!
New Pavilion Unveiled at Gaynes Park
A romantic new pavilion has been completed in the Walled Garden at Gaynes Park. Set just off the central path leading to The Orangery, the pavilion is the perfect spot for gorgeous wedding photographs of the two of you as newlyweds.
The pavilion adds another pretty element to the gardens for you and your guests to enjoy during your drinks reception and as a focal point for formal shots of the wedding party.
Clematis, wisteria and roses will eventually wind their way up the wrought-iron structure but in the meantime the pavilion will be decorated with twinkly, fairy lights to add that extra touch of magic.
Gaynes Park is a family venture and little Chiara is already showing a keen interest in how things are progressing.
Gaynes Park Tasting Day
Couples who have booked their wedding at Gaynes Park were invited to a complimentary tasting day recently. Delicious dishes and fine wines from the wedding menu were on offer, with couples enjoying the experience of being a guest at their own venue.
It was a chance for couples to not only taste the food, but also see Gaynes Park set up and meet the Events Team. Many took the opportunity to chat with other brides and grooms about their weddings and exchange ideas.
"Just wanted to say thanks very much for the tasting day on Saturday. It was great to be able to taste some of the food and wine and what we found really useful was to be able to see the tables set up with people sat around them to gauge how much space there was and how we should arrange things. We got some great ideas and it's given us the motivation we needed to get going with actually organising things!" Brian and Paul

Wedding Open Day at Gaynes Park on Sunday 22nd February 2009
The Gaynes Park Open Day was a huge success, with couples both new to Gaynes Park and those who had already booked their wedding reception, mingling with wedding suppliers including DJs, bridal hair and make-up artists, photographers, toastmasters, florists and more.
