The Long Walk begins at the Heart Gate and leads through the grounds of Gaynes Park to the entrance of the Walled Garden (the Lion Gate. With your nearest and dearest assembled and eagerly awaiting your arrival in the Orangery, the Long Walk gives you a just the right amount of time to relax and compose yourself before making your grand entrance through the gates of the Walled Garden.
The countryside views and pretty herbaceous borders along the Long Walk are peaceful and calming. There are many opportunities for your photographer to capture the wedding procession, along with those private moments of excitement and anticipation, before you proceed up the garden aisle to the Orangery and make your vows.
