Autumn
Autumn
Autumn is a season that evokes the rich colours of the harvest and a glorious flush of changing leaves on the trees. Rich cinnamon, yellow, burgundy, gold, rusty reds, creamy ivories and aubergine hues create a wonderful natural palette for an autumn wedding.
Crisp, cooler days lend themselves to sumptuous warm fabrics like velvet, heavy satin, brocade and rich embroidery allowing you to make the most of luxurious dresses for you and your bridesmaids. Shrugs and stoles will not only keep you cosy but also accessorise your wedding outfits.
Wedding flowers and decorations can be used to enhance the autumnal feel. Why not experiment with garlands of greenery accentuated with berries hung on walls or draped around pillars and dried flower petals in baskets or bowls, or simply scattered over table tops? You could even use pumpkins as decorations and have unusual autumn favours and flavours, like toffee apples, to delight your guests!
Rachael and Luke's - Autumn Wedding

Rachael and Luke chose to have a farming theme as Luke is a farmer. The style was soft, which was helped by using sepia tones.
We tried to avoid black and strong colours. The table decorations were homemade; jam jars decorated with string and flowers and filled with tea lights. The tables were strewn with petals and Swarovski crystals. My mum made some lovely bunting to hang on the front of the barn. It looked amazing.
